The requirements during the project involved re-vising the corporate identity and apply it across the board to items such as signage, stationery, launch materials etc for both offices.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish Con Gallagher and the Network Recruitment team well wishes on the new venture and every success on the launch and re-launch in the upcoming weeks.

The aim of the conference was to provide an assessment of the role and contribution of the small business sector to economic development in Northern Ireland aimed at anyone with an interest in promoting and strengthening the small business sector in Northern Ireland.

Lairdesign provided design solutions in the form of branding, brochure design, stage set design, promotional material, stationery, print management and a multimedia presentation. The concept implementing Russian Dolls imagery represented the ‘small is big’ theme.

The conference was a success and we look forward to further joint ventures with Business Results Events.

The branding focuses on creating a theme that will run across all aspects of the operation, which will form a truly inspiring working environment for both athletes and members of the public (staff/students/childrens clubs etc) The initial artwork creates a sense of something big is coming to the UUJ!

A start has now been made towards the run-up of the launch in May 2008, to which all are looking forward. More news will be updated on this project over the next few months.

In August of this year, East Tyrone College, Fermanagh College and Omagh College merged to become the South West College. The identity was launched in August and Lairdesign continue to work on additional requirements for the South West College such as corporate guidelines, stationery and signage for the four campuses - Cookstown, Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh.

The vibrant design complements the feel of the Shopping Centre with its new multi-million pound extension and refurbishment program. Like all our sites the website is built according to current web standards and has a Content Management System for client administration.

Backed by the GAA clothing brand Squareball, the design and print was carried out by Lairdesign. Using strong imagery and language that appeals to students the promotion got a lot of recognition in the colleges across the North as well as featured in ‘The Irish News’. The University of Ulster is the largest university on the island of Ireland with over 28,000 students and employing nearly 3,500 people across its four campuses. The HPC facilities will be available to World-class athletes and teams, Elite Athlete students and University of Ulster students, staff as well as members of the public. Lairdesign’s work will focus on creating a theme that will run across all aspects of the operation, which will form a truly inspiring working environment for athletes.

Presented August 10th, in Croke Park. The McNamee awards are presented annually in recognition of excellence in communication throughout the island of Ireland, and around the world for the promotion of Gaelic games.

In selecting Tyrone as winners, the judging panel stated:

“The programmes include the musings of the team manager, reflections on past encounters, the view from the opposing camp, features on unsung heroes from the grassroots and many more novel contributions presented in a quirky, easy-to-read and well laid out publication which sets the standard for match programmes in the National League.”

Designing and printing the Ulster Championship Programmes (amongst many other pieces of work) for the Ulster Council for this season and last has been a joy for many of the GAA fans at Lairdesign and for Tyrone to win on Final day was an added bonus!
We have worked on producing high-end Programmes that are both functional in layout and are presented well displaying teams, management, the passion and competitiveness throughout the game across into the design.

We wish all the Ulster teams left in the competition the best of luck in the hope of an All-Ireland win!
