A £400K signage contract would scare most design companies . . . but in close examination of the tender we found it would actually be scarier for signage contractors. Like most of our work, it was all about about understanding the client, knowing what they wanted to achieve and problem solving with them.

We were aware of the ‘Go For It’ brand and also the individual identities of the Enterprise Centres in Northern Ireland. It was always going to be easier for a designer to satisfy the needs of both clients in this signage. We introduced the signage in two phases as we expected some opposition from Centres afraid of losing their own identity.

We were confident that the Enterprise Centres would be pleasantly surprised by how the signage looked. Phase II allowed them to go for elements they were afraid to during Phase I. The project was delivered on time and under budget.
