Lairdesign win the tender for UU Sports Academy Branding
Lairdesign have won the tender for the development and implementation programme for UU Sports Academy Branding. This involves creating related sports themed imagery and graphics for the University’s state of the art High Performance Centre and current Sports Centre. The HPC is scheduled to be formally launched in January 2008 and will comprise of many quality facilities such as a 60X40 metre indoor hall with artificial grass surface, 85 metre sprint and warm up area, 130m outdoor sprint track alongside the building, new hockey, rugby, gaelic and soccer pitches amongst others.
The University of Ulster is the largest university on the island of Ireland with over 28,000 students and employing nearly 3,500 people across its four campuses. The HPC facilities will be available to World-class athletes and teams, Elite Athlete students and University of Ulster students, staff as well as members of the public. Lairdesign’s work will focus on creating a theme that will run across all aspects of the operation, which will form a truly inspiring working environment for athletes.
